The Storage Bed has been in production since Gothic Furniture was founded in 1969 and continues our tradition of dependable, built to last furniture that specialize in maximizing your storage needs. Available in a variety of wood options, storage configurations, and colors, it's no question that this is the perfect bed of choice for smaller rooms or when trying to alleviate the need of a dresser or chest.
This specific Storage Bed, shown above in Twin, comes with up to 6 large drawers. (See Different Configurations) All of our Storage Beds come with standard metal tracks and under drawer face finger grooves for ease of use when opening and closing the drawers. The simple design allows it to blend along with any of our other Gothic Furniture products, giving you the option to put together your own set by picking and choosing the items you need. Fashioned with a solid top and not slats, this bed is mattress-ready so no need for a box spring.

Gothic Cabinet Craft will repair or replace any Gothic manufactured product or component that is defective in material or workmanship for as long as you, the original purchaser, own it. Excluded are normal wear and tear (including dents, scratches and finish), negligence or misuse and damage caused by moving or shipping furniture. Knots and natural wood imperfections are not covered. Warranty is only valid when furniture is finished by Gothic. For New York City (five Boroughs), Nassau and Suffolk County customers only, Gothic Cabinet Craft will replace or repair the furniture at no charge for the first year after the purchase. After the first year, and for customers outside of NYC area, if the customer brings the item to our Maspeth Factory for repair, there is no charge, but a travel and/or delivery/pick up fee will apply for in home repairs or pick-ups. Valid only on purchases made on or after 8/1/2011 and your order must be registered on line (www.gothiccabinetcraft.com/lifetime-warranty/) within 30 days of the day you receive your furniture for the warranty to be in effect for Gothic manufactured items. Custom made orders, floor samples, and/or floor models are not covered by this warranty. Any repairs attempted by the customer voids all warranties. In the event of a service request the Service Department may request a photo which can be emailed to service@shopgothic.com Our Glass components are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, materials, and construction for one year. Minor scratches, air bubbles, surface waviness or lightly pitted areas occur naturally during glass manufacture, and are not considered quality defects. Normal wear and tear, damages which result from improper use, improper care, accidents, abuse or negligence are not covered by the warranty. Our mechanical components are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, materials, and construction for one year. storage beds
We own eight of these with matching headboards and I can’t say enough good things about them. We have ten kids and we’re a military family. Regular furniture always winds up getting wrecked when we move so we decided to splurge on good quality beds. We couldn’t find anything nice, even for twice our budget, then we saw these and called to get more information. The guy on the phone talked us through everything and we went for it.
We’ve had them for several months now and have zero regrets. They’re incredibly well made and practical while still having a nice classic look. I have a feeling our grandkids and great grandchildren will be sleeping in these beds when they come over to visit 50 years from now. We’re also now looking at upgrading our king sized bed to this same style in order to get more storage in our 240 year old, closet free house.
I was concerned about how such a big order would fare in shipping but they were packaged and palleted so well that they arrived without so much as a scratch. We went for the birch instead of the standard pine so they were heavy enough to need two strong guys to move (we removed the drawers to lighten them). The drawers work perfectly and hold a ton. The full extension slides for the drawers are a great upgrade and elevate the beds significantly. We’ve shown them off to family when they visit and several people have commented on how smooth and sturdy the drawers are. Our six year old daughter has down syndrome and twice we’ve found her sitting in a fully extended drawer yet there’s no damage at all.
Bottom line, this is an heirloom quality piece of furniture. The price wasn’t much more than big box store stuff and we didn’t have to assemble anything. Since it’s one solid piece we’re not concerned that the beds will come apart when we move. If it had to come up with a complaint it would be the slight odor from the varnish but it dissipated overnight and didn’t transfer to the mattress or bedding. The beds are a great value and are pieces that we will keep forever or hand down to other family members for their kids to enjoy once some of our kids have grown and moved out. -
